This is a map I have made of North America for Play the World. I have used a very detailed map of eco-regions and researched the placement of resources so that they are accurate by the criteria I used. This map has been playtested. It is superior to my previous maps (Great Lakes and Australia, NZ, Indonesia etc.) in both accuracy and gameplay. Size is 130x130.

Click on a thumbnail to download a map. Maps are zipped and should be unzipped into the SCENARIOS folder, located in the directory in which you installed Civ III. To play with the map, start Civ III and select "LOAD SCENARIO" from the main menu, and select the map you just unzipped. When you are prompted about customizing the world map, select "No. Start the game already!".
Please note that you should be running the latest version of Civ III before attempting to load these maps.
